Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher, cultural critic, and poet of the late 19th century. He is known for his critique of traditional morality and religion, and his ideas on the concept of the "superman" or "Übermensch." Nietzsche's most famous works include "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" and "Beyond Good and Evil." He also wrote on topics such as the will to power, eternal recurrence, and the death of God. He suffered a mental breakdown in 1889 which left him unable to write, and he died 11 years later.
