Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States, was born on December 28, 1856 in Staunton, Virginia. He was a political scientist and historian before becoming a politician, serving as President from 1913-1921. During his tenure, he implemented progressive reforms such as the Federal Reserve Act and the Clayton Antitrust Act. He also led the country through World War I and played a key role in the formation of the League of Nations. Wilson's presidency ended on a sour note as the Senate rejected the League of Nations and he suffered a stroke.
