Bram Stoker was an Irish author, best known for writing the horror novel "Dracula." Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1847, Stoker worked as a civil servant and a theater manager before turning to writing. He published his first book, "The Duties of Clerks of Petty Sessions in Ireland," in 1879. However, it was his 1897 novel "Dracula" that made him famous and cemented his place in literary history. The novel has since been adapted into countless films, television shows, and stage productions. Stoker died in London in 1912.
